The free trial
New accounts get 7 days of Premium, from when you confirm your email address. There's nothing to cancel: when it ends, your account carries on as Free. In the last few days, your world's overview says what will change for it.
Paying for Premium
Premium is £3, $4 or €3.50 a month: choose your currency on the pricing page, then Subscribe. Payment is by card, through Stripe, who handle payments for us; we never see your card details.
- Subscribing during your free trial doesn't end it: your first payment is when the trial would have ended.
- If you've never subscribed before, subscribing during your trial gets you your first month for £1, $1 or €1. The pricing page shows it while your trial lasts. After the first month it's the usual price.
- On your dashboard's Account page, Manage your subscription opens Stripe's page to change your card, download invoices or cancel.
- Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep Premium until the end of the month you've paid for.
- If a payment fails, we email you and Stripe tries again over the next few days. Your maps keep Premium meanwhile.
- Once you've subscribed, your account stays in that currency.
- Subscribed on the old BedrockMap? Your subscription carried over as it was: the same card, the same payment date and the same price. There's nothing to do.
- Want a refund? Contact us and tell us what happened. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
Inviting friends
Your invite link is on your dashboard's Account page. Friends who sign up with it get a 14-day free trial of Premium instead of 7.
When one of them first pays for Premium, you get a month of it free: taken off your next payment if you subscribe, or added to your account if you don't. Up to 12 months a year. The Account page shows how many friends have signed up and subscribed.
If Premium ends
When Premium ends, your account is fitted to the Free plan within a few minutes. A cancelled subscription runs to the end of the month you've paid for first, and if a payment fails, you keep Premium for 7 days while Stripe tries again. A trial's last day comes with an email the day before.
- Every map is cut to Free's size: 1,500 × 1,500 blocks around the centre of each dimension, at Free's zoom. Coming back to Premium doesn't restore the rest: render the map again for that.
- One world stays active: the one viewed most recently. The others are locked: visitors can't open them, and they're deleted after 90 days. You can swap which world is active from your dashboard at any time, or come back to Premium to unlock them all.
- Only the snapshot each map opens on is kept, and the timeline is switched off. The isometric view goes, and maps are shown by day.
- Your uploaded world files are kept for 24 hours, as on Free.
- Markers and regions stop showing. They're kept, and come back if Premium does.
- Your own subdomain stops working: visitors are sent to the map's main address.
- A private map stays private, and hidden areas stay hidden.
