Questions
Does it work with Java Edition?
Yes. Zip the world's folder and upload it, the same as a Bedrock world. How. Live players and markers from in game work on Java servers with our Java plugin (Paper, Spigot, Purpur or Fabric). Auto-sync is Bedrock only, through Bedrock Relay: upload a newer copy of a Java world to update its map.
Can I map my Realm?
Yes: download the Realm's world in Minecraft and export it (how), or connect it through Bedrock Relay and let auto-sync send fresh copies for you.
Does my map update on its own?
Not by itself: a map shows the copy of the world you uploaded. Upload a newer copy whenever you like, or use auto-sync on Premium.
Do my players need anything?
No. Anyone with the link can explore the map in a web browser, on a phone or a computer. No account, no mods.
Do I need to install anything in my world?
No. BedrockMap only reads a copy of your world. For live players, Bedrock Relay installs its own pack on a server, or joins a Realm; you don't touch any files.
Will it show my secret base?
Only if it's in the render area and you don't hide it. Use hidden areas on Premium, or keep the base outside the area you map.
Does it work with mods or add-ons?
Worlds with add-ons render fine. Blocks the renderer doesn't know are drawn in a plain colour.
How much does Premium cost?
See the pricing on the home page. New accounts get 7 days of Premium free. What's included.
Can I have more than one map?
Free has one world; Premium has up to 10, each with its own map, link and settings.
I used the old BedrockMap. What happens to my maps?
They come with you. Old auto-sync and the old addon keep working until 31 March 2027; after that, use Bedrock Relay. Old sync.
