Uploading and rendering a world
Follow these steps to upload and render your world:
- Click Upload New World on your dashboard
- Either:
- Drag and drop your .mcworld or .zip file directly onto the upload box, or
- Click browse files to select your world file from your device
- Once selected, click Upload to begin the upload and render process
Your world will automatically start uploading with default settings applied. You'll see a progress bar showing the upload status, and once complete, your world will be added to the render queue. You can monitor render progress from your dashboard.

Working with markers
Markers help you highlight important locations on your map. There are two ways to add markers:
Method 1: Add markers from the Map Viewer
- Open your world map by clicking View Map
- Add markers directly from the interactive map viewer
For detailed instructions on using the map viewer interface, see the Map Viewer Interface guide.
Method 2: Premium In-Game Addon (Premium Only)
Premium users can add and remove markers directly in-game using the BedrockMap Premium addon on their server. This allows you to place markers while playing without needing to use the web interface.
Managing Existing Markers
The Markers tab in your world management page allows you to:
- View all existing markers on your map
- Edit marker details (title, description, styling)
- Delete markers you no longer need

Understanding render limits and quotas
BedrockMap uses a render quota system to manage server resources:
- Free Tier: 2 renders per day, 1 world slot, max 1500x1500 render size
- Premium Tier: 20 renders per day, 10 world slots, max 10000x10000 render size
Each render (first upload or re-render) counts toward your daily quota. The quota resets at midnight UTC.
Tip: Premium users can retain world files for re-rendering without re-uploading. Free users need to upload again for each render.
